Connor Marks

Connor Marks was introduced to theatre from his brothers, and started getting into theatre during his Freshman year at Blacksburg High School and ever since has been super excited to start doing more and more shows. Beauty and the Beast is his first musical, however, and he is very excited to perform in the ensemble in SME’s production of Beauty and the Beast this year.

Jordan Bass

This is Jordan’s second year performing with Summer Musical Enterprise, and she is so excited to be playing a Silly Girl!  She has performed in two Blacksburg High School shows at and in SME’s the Music Man. Jordan loves music and Netflix, and is excited to be attending Christopher Newport University in the Fall.

Felix Uren

Felix Uren (Student) is excited to join SME for another awesome show. Previously, Felix has played Winthrop in SME’s production of The Music Man and a clown fish in The Little Mermaid at Blacksburg High School. His love for theater has been strengthened by those experiences and by Samantha Quesenberry and Michael Trujillo during It’s Showtime, a summer theater camp. Felix would like to thank Ms. Q, Mr. T, Carrie Mayer, and the many other people who’ve helped him grow as a performer. And he’d like to thank everyone at SME.

James-Michael Lynde

This is James’s second with Summer Musical Enterprise. He has been seen on stage in performances of: Beauty and the Beast (Ensemble) with SME,; Annie Get Your Gun (Ensemble) and Guys and Dolls Jr. (Nicely-Nicely Johnson) with Blacksburg High School. When he is not on stage he is a student at NRCC.

Eric Wollmann

Eric Wollmann (Prince) is so excited to return to the stage with Summer Musical Enterprise. His last show was over four years ago as Petruchio in Open Air Shakespeare’s Taming of the Shrew. Eric is a graduate of Virginia Tech with a degree in geology and is currently employed as a Staff Geologist at Schnabel Engineering.

Shaye Lester

This is Shaye’s 4th show with Summer Musical Enterprise and her 7th show overall. Her most recent role was that of Vanessa in a spin-off version of The Little Mermaid through Little Leapers in Blacksburg. She also participated in SME’s production of Beauty and the Beast during Summer 2017. Along with theatre, she also loves baking, cake decorating, painting, reading, and
gymnastics. She hopes to participate in many additional shows in the future!

Jack Hudson

Jack Hudson (LeFou) is more than ecstatic for his 3rd show with Summer Musical Enterprise. He was Benjamin in SME’s “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat,” and an Indian in “Peter Pan.” He studied at Marymount Manhattan College for Musical Theatre, where he performed in the school production of “South Pacific.” Jack would like to thank SME for casting him as the role of LeFou. You can find Jack singing and making sandwiches at Subway on University City Boulevard.

Keeli Bowles

Keeli Bowles (female 2 in ensemble) is very excited to do her first show with SME. You might have seen her recently as Mrs. Darling/Jane/Liza/Tigerlily/Neverbird in the NHS production of Peter Pan and Wendy. She is also affiliated with an up and coming new company, Blue Ridge Center Stage in Newport. She is a “Jack of all trades” character. She has performed in theatre for 4 years. She is known for her abilities in singing, dancing, improv, playing multiple instruments, and gymnastics.

Ken Sewell

Beauty and the Beast is Ken’s second production with S.M.E. his first was The Music Man. Ken enjoyed taking Theater 1 class in High school. During that time he was also a scenic painter and stage worker, in the production of Pride and Prejudice. He eventually made his way in to Radford University and took another Theater class called Voice and Movement, along with some music classes. In his spare time Ken likes to swim, run and workout. He also enjoys playing his guitar. Ken would like to thank S.M.E. for giving him this opportunity to work with them again.

Michael Trujillo

Michael Trujillo (Assistant Director) is usually seen ON the stage for SME shows, but is thrilled to be a part of the amazing production staff this summer. Michael is the drama director at Blacksburg Middle School and a SME board member. Favorite shows he’s directed include: Steel Magnolias (HaeBo) and The Red Badge of Courage (BMS). His acting credits include: The Music Man- Prof. Harold Hill (SME), …Charlie Brown- Schroeder (Blacksburg Theatre), and Joseph…Dreamcoat- Joseph (SME).
