Markley Bortz (Arista)

Markley Bortz is excited to be returning for her second show with SME! Markley has been fortunate enough to start and end her high school journey with The Little Mermaid (She’s in Love with it)! This time around she gets to share the stage with 2/3ds of the other Bortzes (still working on Dad). Markley has recently performed in Blacksburg High School’s Mamma Mia!, Clue: Onstage, Singin’ in the Rain, and many many more. Markley recently attended the Virginia Governor’s School for Visual and Performing Arts, where she studied theatre. In the fall, Markley will be attending Elon University to pursue a BFA in acting. She’d like to thank her family for always supporting her unconditionally, and especially her mom, for trying something new.
