Emily Triplett

Emily Triplett is delighted to be performing in her fourth SME production! She has appeared in Shrek the Musical, A Christmas Story, and The Music Man. She attends BHS, and has been in several shows there, including Aladdin Jr., Crazytown, and Annie Get Your Gun. She is also a proud member of Thespian Troupe 3600. She would like to thank her parents, and has been excited to share her dad with two Belles this summer. She would also like to thank her fellow cast members and directors for their support. “Gaston is the best and the rest is all drips!”

Bradley Kraft

This is Bradley’s second show with Summer Musical Enterprise after making his debut with the company last summer in Beauty & The Beast (as Beast). When Bradley is not performing on stage, he is convincing teenagers that history can be an enjoyable subject as a teacher at Blacksburg High School as he has done for the past ten years. He is married to his wife Jessica – his
closest and most supportive friend – and has two beautiful children, Joseph and Gideon, who most decidedly (and fortuitously) took after their mother when it came to good looks and intelligence!

Natalie Miller

Natalie Miller is so excited to be returning for her second season of Summer Musical Enterprises! She played Gracie Shinn in last year’s production of The Music Man. She would like to thank her best friends Abbi Dickerson and Jordin Harris for supporting her in her acting adventures. She would also like to thank her family for helping make her theatrical dreams come true. And, most especially thank you to the cast and crew of the Beauty and the Beast for an amazing summer!

Reilly Blevins

REILLY BLEVINS (Belle). Reilly Blevins just graduated from the American Music and Dramatic Academy in New York City. She is a 2015 graduate of Christiansburg High School (CHS). Beauty and the Beast marks Reilly’s eleventh production with SME. You may know her as The Cat in the Hat (Seussical the Musical) or most recently as that girl that danced around and pickalittled (The Music Man). She is so thankful for this wonderful opportunity and wishes you enjoy the show as much as she has enjoyed putting it together. Thank you for supporting the arts!

Sadie Rose

Sadie Rose (The Narrator) is excited to be making her debut with Summer Musical Enterprise. She studies acting under Bo Keister and works for Marilyn’s Acting Agency. Sadie’s favorite past time is eating ice cream and watching “Sherlock.”

Jennifer Nardine

Jennifer Nardine (Mrs. Potts) is delighted to return to SME’s stage. Favorite credits include Olive in The Female Odd Couple (New River Stage), Her Grace in Honk (New River Stage) and continuing work as Soprano/V.P. in Blacksburg’s post-collegiate a cappella group, King’s Post. (www.kingspost.us). She has a B.M. in vocal performance (DePaul), an MSI in library science (U of MI) and is working on a Masters in Counseling (Virginia Tech) while serving as an department liaison in VT’s Newman Library. Outside of work, Jennifer volunteers with the NRV Women’s Resource Center. She loves traveling and teaching mindfulness meditation classes, as well as spending time by/in the water, walking, reading, ballroom dance, and spending time with friends and loved ones. *Mwah* to all, and enjoy!

Patrick Marks

Patrick Marks is super excited to be performing in the ensemble for his second production with SME. As a recent graduate from Blacksburg High School, some of his favorite credits include playing Jafar in Aladdin and Buffalo Bill in Annie Get Your Gun. He also played Mark in A Chorus Line. Patrick will be attending AMDA NY this fall to study musical theatre. He also enjoys photography and singing.

Colleen Beard

Colleen is a 2014 Virginia Tech graduate where she completed a music performance minor. Her first SME show was The Pajama Game as Poopsie and her most recent SME performance was A Christmas Story: The Musical as Mrs. Swartz. Before that, she was in the opera premier of The Three Feathers at Virginia Tech in October 2014. She has also performed with New River Stage in Once Upon a Mattress, as Lady Larkin, and in HONK!, as Penny. She’s looking forward to returning to the stage with this production of SME’s Beauty and the Beast as Babette, the feather duster/ensemble! She’s wants to thank her amazing husband and family for their support and love!

Dawn Viers

Dawn Viers (Pepper, Ensemble) is thrilled to be in her second show with SME, after being a Pickalittle lady in the 2016 SME performance of “The Music Man.” She is excited to be part of this show with her daughter (Brynn Yaun) and brother (Brent Viers). She enjoys hanging out on her porch with her family, friends, second family, and her animals. Her day job is as an assessment specialist/mental health therapist at New River Valley Community Services.  She would like to thank her daughters, Brynn and Mia, for being awesome and her husband, Brian, for being her rock.

Jesse Janowiak

During the day, Jesse Janowiak makes websites. By night, he plays the role of Cogsworth — or sings with the chorus. This is Jesse’s second show with SME, having played Marcellus Washburn in last summer’s production of The Music Man.
