Heather Leeper

Heather Leeper (Dance Captain / Feature Dancer / Wolf / Ensemble) is excited to be making her debut with Summer Musical Enterprise. Heather has studied dance for over 20 years. She trained in Saratoga, NY under New York City Ballet esteemed alumni; Michael Steele, Olga Kostritzky, Deborah Wingert, and Garielle Whittle. As well as under Patti Pugh Moore at the Saratoga City Ballet, and Darlene Myers at the Myers School of Dance. Heather has performed with various companies including the New York City Ballet, Saratoga City Ballet (soloist), Ballet Regent, Northeast Ballet (soloist), Burklyn Ballet, Blacksburg Ballet (soloist), Albany Berkshire Ballet (soloist), and the Dance Company at Virginia Tech. In addition to a classical ballet background, Heather was also a professional cheerleader for three years in Washington, D.C.. Heather is the owner and director of Little Leapers & LEAP Performing Arts Academy here in Blacksburg (and Roanoke), which includes directing the Nutcracker at the Moss Arts Center.

Emily Williams

Emily Williams(Ensemble) is thrilled to be making her theatre debut with Summer Musical Enterprise. She has acted in high school and college productions. Emily’s favorite shows include: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, Anne of Green Gables and Stages. Emily received a Fine Arts degree with an emphasis in theater from Milligan College and is passionate about the theatre. She hopes you all enjoy the show.

Brynn Yaun

Brynn Yaun (Featured Dancer/Ensemble) is incredibly excited to be a part of Summer Musical Enterprises ‘Beauty and the Beast’! She has recently appeared in ‘Annie Get Your Gun’ and ‘Aladdin Jr.’ at Blacksburg High School, and SME’s ‘The Music Man’ She would like to thank her theatre teacher, Mrs. Mayer, for supporting her in her acting endeavors.

Daniel Lewis

This is Daniel’s fourth show with SME following an extended hiatus spent obtaining his teaching license. He most recently appeared as Gaston in SME’s 2017 production of Beauty and the Beast. He would like to thank his family for their support, and the cast and crew for their hard work and dedication.

Ally Witten

Ally Witten is excited to be making her SME debut in the ensemble of Beauty and the Beast. Prior to her recent graduation from Christiansburg High School, she was highly involved in the school’s music and theatre departments. She has enjoyed her roles in the casts and crews of many of CHS’s shows, including A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Best Christmas Pageant Ever, and Disney’s Tarzan. This fall, Ally will attend Hollins University and hopes to continue her theatrical activity there.

David J Schultz II

DAVID J SCHULTZ II Is a 20 something actor from the Star City and so Excited to be making his debut Perfomance here at SME!! David just finished the “Elephent and Piggie” tour at RCT and will be in there upcoming production or The best Christmas pageant ever!!! Favorite credits include: Gaston in Beauty and the Beast Jr. The Big Bad Wolf in SHReK and Schroder in You’re a good man Charlie Brown. David would like to dedicate this show to the memory or Sarabeth Rose.

Sylvia MacNab

Sylvia MacNab (Chip/Townsperson) is excited to be appearing in her second Summer Musical Enterprise production. Last summer, she played Amaryllis in the SME production of The Music Man. Other credits include Spies with JoELoe Productions, and The Little Mermaid with Blacksburg High School. She has also appeared with the Dance Theatre of Harlem at the Moss Arts Center at Virginia Tech. She is a student at Blacksburg Middle School. In her free time, she enjoys riding horses, building awesome contraptions out of cardboard, and outdoor adventures with her friends. She would like to thank her parents for their love and support (and for their chauffeuring), her little brother for being her favorite dance partner, and all her acting friends.

Carrie Mayer

This is Carrie Mayer’s 6th SME show. She is the proud Theatre Director and Teacher at Blacksburg High School where she gets to work with fun and talented students every day. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors, reading, and watching musicals. Ooh la la! What a fun time she’s had playing Babette! Carrie has also enjoyed getting to be castmates with her daughter Alexa. She thanks her wonderful husband Rick and her sweet son Reid for once again letting her do what she loves.

Todd Triplett

Todd Triplett is enchanted to return in this year’s production of Beauty and the Beast. This is his second appearance with SME. He has been apart of many other performances both on and off stage: Salesman #5/Constable Locke (The Music Man – SME), Sky Masterson (Guys and Dolls), Sam Weinberg (A Few Good Men), Technical Director/Set Designer (The Diary of Ann Frank). In his free time, who are we kidding he doesn’t have free time!! Many thanks to the artistic team for giving him this opportunity, his fellow cast members for their support for “crazy ol’ Maurice” and to Cheri and Emily for their encouragement “no matter what.”

Jasmine Stott

Jasmine Stott is so excited to be part of this production! Beauty and the beast is her all time favorite movie! This is her second show with Summer Musical Enterprise. She is currently finishing her master’s up at Radford University in Special Education. Musical theater has always been a part of her life and she hopes to have it play a big part in her future teaching.
