Jeremy Larkin

Jeremy Larkin (Ensemble) is THRILLED to be participating in the stage version of one of his favorite Disney movies for his third SME production, previous ones including The Music Man, and A Christmas Story: The Musical as Randy Parker. When he grows up, he is interested in working with film in acting, directing, and cinematography. He is 12 years old and will soon be a 7th grader at BMS. When he is not working with the fine arts, he loves to be with his friends. He is also working on a feature film that is set to premiere next year. He would like to thank his friends and family for the inspiration and all who have dontated their blood, sweat and tears and many cups of coffee to this wonderful Disney classic.

Ashlinn Blevins

Ashlinn Blevins (Silly Girl). Beauty and the Beast marks Ashlinn’s 6th show with SME. She debuted with SME in the 2012 production of Peter Pan as a pirate. She returned to the SME stage in 2013 as Young Fiona in Shrek the Musical, was featured as Little Red in the 2015 production of Forbidden Broadway, was Mary Beth in A Christmas Story: The Musical in 2015 and a Pick-a-Little Lady/Townskid in the 25th Anniversary Production of The Music Man in 2016! She has performed with Opening Act and Second Stage (New River Stage) and several productions with JoELoe Productions and appeared in Christiansburg Middle School’s first Drama Club production this past Spring, which was an original collection of skits written by Joelle Shenk. She has also been in shows with Haebo Productions. Ashlinn enjoys watching Netflix, singing, art, and spending time with friends. She hopes you love the show as much as she has.

Timothy Miles

Timothy Miles (Dance Captain) is a 20 year-old artist from the New River Valley. Dance training includes 10 years at Blue Ridge Performing Arts Academy, 1 year at Divine Dance Center and a summer residency in Ballet with Queen’s Park Arts Centre in London. Previous credits include the Engineering Student and the Gamer in the world premiere of (Be)Longing, a featured dancer in Mill Mountain Theatre’s production of Beauty and the Beast Junior, and Dr Howden in the Boo Revue at Showtimers. He is a student at Virginia Tech studying Religion and Culture, and works for Student Athlete Academic Support Services.

Lexi Grigg

Lexi Grigg (Footstool/Martini Glass) is overly joyed to be in her 3rd SME production. She has loved her time in theatre including her roles in SME’s productions of Peter Pan, and Shrek, as well as performances in other productions including Aladdin Jr., You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown, and several New River Stage Performances. In addition, Lexi is an accomplished dancer who has earned two National Titles. She loves to sing, act, and be on stage. She would like to thank her parents and family for their support and for making all of this possible.

Josalyn Amodeo

Josalyn is so excited to be in her second SME show, having made her debut as the Enchantress in last year’s Beauty and the Beast. She performed in a number of Blacksburg High School shows, most recently Annie Get Your Gun. She also played Belle in a production of Beauty and the Beast. Josalyn graduated from Blacksburg this past May and hopes to spend the next year or so focusing on vocal training. She’d like to thank her friends, family, and community for supporting her in
her passion for theatre and music.

Eden Braak

Eden Braak is ecstatic to be part of her first production, as a featured dancer and ensemble member. She is an 8th grade student at Saint John Neumann Academy. She enjoys all forms of dancing including tap, jazz, ballet, and hip hop. In the future, she hopes to participate in other productions.

Jessa Braak

Jessa Braak is overjoyed to be performing as an ensemble member in her first ever production! Jessa is a 9th grade student at Blacksburg Highschool and loves acting and Tap and Hiphop. She also wants to do more productions and fine arts in the future.

Roxi Jara

This is Roxi’s 3rd production with Summer Musical Enterprise. In previous years she’s been a member of the ensemble for both Beauty and the Beast 2017, and Peter Pan 2012 (played an Indian). She studies dance with Little Leapers dance studio in Blacksburg, where she’s performed with them in their last four productions as a dancer/actor/singer/rapper/costume designer/maker. She has been in several productions of The Nutcracker, as a maid, solo Jester, and Spanish Matador. Roxi also had her first improv show downtown this year through Little Leapers. She is so delight and thrilled to be part of Sweeney Todd, another amazing show for SME! She loves sharing the stage and her passion with all her extremely talented friends, new and old. When she is not rehearsing or going to dance class she makes costumes for the conventions she attends. She works at Virginia Tech and at NRVCS. She has been part of the NRV community since 2008 so perhaps at some point you’ve given a
nod to Roxi.

Bradley Grigg

Bradley Grigg is super exited to be in her second SME Production. Bradley attends BHS and is 15 years old heading into 10th grade. Other activities she participates in include competitive diving, competitive dancing, school theatre and other activities. She loves being on the stage and is ecstatic to be “Rug” in SME’s Production of Beauty and the Beast.

Heather “Dexy” Ursano

Heather “Dexy” Ursano (Madame de la Grande Bouche) resides in Christiansburg, VA. She is an alumna of Radford University and currently teaches Deaf/Special Education in Giles County. She has been involved in many local productions with companies such as New River Stage, June Bug Players of Floyd, and Open Air Shakespeare NRV. Notable roles with SME include; Pirate in “Peter Pan”, the Wicked Witch in “Shrek the Musical”, Miss Shields in “A Christmas Story”, and Ethel Toffelmier/Pickalittle Lady in the 25th Anniversary revival of “The Music Man”. She is the co-sponsor for the Narrows High School Drama Club where she recently directed “Peter Pan and Wendy.” Dexy is thrilled to be acting alongside two of her Narrows High School students, Elena and Keeli, this summer!
